Phil Mackey is a former Minnesota Twins beat writer, full-time professional wrestling geek and unofficial ambassador for robot umpires. He hosts the YouTube shows and SKOR North podcasts Purple Daily and Mackey & Judd podcasts with his co-host, Judd Zulgad.

Phil is willing to die on almost any sports argument hill- including "electronic strike zones will save our children" and "Tiger Woods might not be 'back, back' but he's BACK!" Mackey loves traveling- specifically to Duluth, Milwaukee, Chicago and Arizona- exploring the incredible Twin Cities restaurant scene and lobbying for WrestleMania to come to U.S. Bank Stadium.

Mackey has a soft spot for animals. He grew up on a hobby farm with horses, dogs and cats, and he remains a proud dog dad today.
