Wes was born in Stillwater and raised on the east side of St. Paul. After graduating Harding High School in 1994, Wes decided to give radio a try and went to Brown Institute (as it was called way back then!) His radio career includes Power 96 in Faribault MN, KCLD St. Cloud MN, WIFC Wausau WI, KISS FM Milwaukee WI, KDWB Twin Cities, Back to KISS FM Milwaukee/ MIX 105 Madison (syndicated) MYX Milwaukee and most recently WXLC in the Chicago suburbs.
Wes has been married to his wife for 2 ½ years and has three children. His daughter is graduating from Winona State and becoming a special education teacher. His older son is graduating from high school this year and going into the
