Originally from a small town in Central Illinois, Cody graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in journalism before carving his own path in digital media. He launched his first podcast in 2020, using that platform to grow his voice and build relationships across the sports media landscape—momentum that led to co-hosting a Chicago Cubs podcast with CHGO Sports in 2022.
